I understand the struggle of seeing a loved one feel suicidal. I am able to fully empathize with many situations, including anxiety and depression, substance use, and grief.
My experience comes from not only my education, but also my life experiences. I taught preschool for many years at both a private academy and public school. I earned an associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I became discouraged, and decided to go in a different direction. When I first began my education journey back in 1999 at Macomb Community College, I took a psychology class and struggled to pass it. I have always been interested in psychology.
